2018 Jazz Dinner Dance & Silent Auction Itinerary
4:45pm – Arrive and prepare for rehearsal/sound check
5:00pm – Rehearsal & sound check on stage
6:30pm – Doors open (CD plays as serving lines are open)
6:50pm – Meet with your section in the Band Hall for tuning check
7:00pm – LRHS Jazz Band performance
app. 7:45pm – UTA Jazz Orchestra performance
*You will receive a BBQ dinner plate from the boosters after you perform and during UTA’s performance
app. 8:45pm – UTA Jazz Orchestra performance ends
app. 9:00pm – Event ends; help clear the stage
Concert attire: All black
Men: black, long-sleeved, collared dress shirt; black dress slacks; black dress shoes; black socks; black jackets are optional
Ladies: black dress, long black skirt, or black dress pants; black long-sleeved blouse; black, closed-toe dress shoes; black leggings or panty hose
- Leave all instrument cases in the Band Hall.
- Every student is to stay at the event throughout the duration of the night and help with stage breakdown after the UTA Jazz Orchestra performance.
