We need volunteers to help with our March-A-Thon on Saturday, August 24, 2024, Starting at 7:15 and continuing until 11:30. Please see the itinerary below for a timeline, descriptions, and needs.
Friday Evening August 23rd (Before Meet the Band)
4 Volunteers needed to fill coolers with water at 5:30PM
Saturday, August 24th
Trucks– We will need 4 trucks to pick up the water coolers and place them in the back of their trucks. You will follow behind the band so the water can be accessible to our other volunteers.
Nurse– We will need you to carry the first aid kit and ride in a truck should a student need attention.
Water Distribution– 12 volunteers (3 for each truck) You will hand out water and neck towels as needed and pick up empty water bottles. You will be walking with the band students so be prepared to walk the length of the parade.
Money Collectors– We will need about 20 money collectors. You will be walking on the sides of the band and collecting money in the jars provided.
Water Donation – We will need water donated for the students during the March-A-Thon. We are asking for 20 volunteers to bring a 40 ct case of water. Water may be dropped off starting 8/12/24 through the evening of 8/23/24 when the water is loaded into the coolers.
7:15 Trucks pick up water coolers from the band hall and drive to Daulton
8:30 All volunteers and students meet at Daulton Elementary School
